More Capital Fun

It was either the Sand Flea HS or a day of play riding at Capital. We opted for Capital as the whole crew wanted to go.
We stated off just toying around in the Middle Wadell parking lot. No rush. Taylor came along, a day after kicking ass in his track event. A day after he fractured his leg. Why was he riding?
Shutup! That’s why!

42 sporting a new look? That look is known as.... “Stupid...”. A perfect fit!

Darrel looking stylish. He quickly realized it was going to be way too hot for all that gear!

Taylor hamming it up. And he didn’t even know I was taking his picture?

This is the view everyone comes to Capital peak for.

This hill used to be far worse. It’s so easy now!

Sorry about the purple. I had the camera set to swap brown for purple (It’s a new camera... I’m still learning how to use it).
This video is a long shot of the group riding up to the peak. Taylor had slogged his way up to this point, even with a bum leg. He persisted and we couldn’t have been more amazed.

The antenna farm. Sitting here, I get a funny warm feeling deep in my gut. I must be proud to be an engineer and to know how these work.

Taking a break... The typical payoff after riding the rocks. What mountain is that?

Pretty rough day?

No way! Darrel just got a new PDS2 rear spring and can now fly!
